Os The Verve, referência máxima da facção mais psicadélica da britpop, após um interregno de 10 anos, voltaram ás lides musicais com a edição do album “Forth”, do qual aqui fica o single de avanço “Love is noise”.
Para ser justo, estou muito contente pela volta de uma banda que marcou uma (boa) época, mas devo confessar que o single é para mim um pouco uma desilusão. Não que não tenha qualidade, mas porque desta banda sempre esperei muito mais.
Porém os fãs britânicos da banda não têm (felizmente) a mesma opinião do que eu e colocaram este album directamente no n.1 do top britânico, como pode ser visto aqui e aqui.
Os The Cure vão lançar o seu novo album “4:13 Dream” a 13 de Outubro. O anúncio foi feito no site oficial da banda e também é disponibilizado o vídeo de promoção do single “The perfect boy”. O vídeo está disponível aqui e aqui.
Aqui fica a nova música dos Oasis, que antecipa o novo album “Dig Out Your Soul” que deve ver a luz do dia em Outubro. Parece que os manos Gallagher não perderam a forma.
